2019 EVENTS

February 21-24, 2019

Visit me at the Connecticut Flower and Garden Show and see my whimsical mushroom village in the lobby entrance. Winter blues are sure to vanish when you enter this delightful environment of Spring, and my fanciful mushrooms will bring a smile. I have hidden lights inside, added forrest faces and embellishments, with ladders and pathways to enter the doorways placed where Hobbits might find them. My display inside is number 432. Hope to see you there!

Held at the Connecticut Convention Center 100 Columbus Blvd, Hartford, Connecticut 06103.

Exhibit to Begin March 1 in Simsbury:

A Journey of Artistic Expression.jpg

June 8-9, 2019, 10AM to 5PM

View Shauna Shane's garden sculpture and original paintings in oil, watercolor, and pastel during this June open studio and garden tour. Be inspired to take a class in garden sculpture or the fine arts during your visit.

During the tour in our corner of CT, my art studio and garden will be open along with 8 other local artists providing a beautiful lush backdrop for our creative expression. My garden will feature paintings inside and out, a Koi Pond, a faerie landscape in a rowboat, and cement columns and sculptures. You will see the Lion and Rooster sculpture from the Connecticut Flower Show, as well as the lighted giant mushroom from this year. I am really proud of how these garden sculptures add to the creative environment here at FentonRiver, and I am confident that if you make the scenic journey to my studio you will experience a positive energy that will make you smile.

All the Best, Shauna
